Toilets are measured in gallons per flush (GPF). Reducing either the fixture rate or the frequency of use lowers total consumption, but the strongest savings come from improving both.
For showers, the daily savings are:

For toilets, the daily savings are:

Total daily savings are the sum of both. Annual gallons saved are daily savings multiplied by 365, and financial savings are annual gallons saved multiplied by the local water rate per gallon.
A showerhead that saves only one gallon per minute may not sound dramatic, but if multiple household members shower daily, those reductions compound into thousands of gallons per year.
