Wake time 7:00 AM, 5 sleep cycles targeted, 15-minute sleep latency.

Total time asleep: \(5 \times 90 = 450\) minutes, or 7.5 hours.

Bedtime: \(7\!:\!00\text{ AM} - 450\text{ min} - 15\text{ min} = 11\!:\!15\text{ PM}\) the night before.

Getting into bed by 11:15 PM lines up your wake-up with the natural end of the fifth cycle, reducing the odds of an alarm cutting into deep sleep.
