## The Mathematics of Dynamic Deficit Modeling

The simulator applies a daily loop starting with your weight and body fat percentage. It estimates lean body mass ($LBM$) to calculate BMR using the Katch-McArdle formula:

$$\text{TDEE} = \text{BMR} \times \text{Activity Factor}$$
